On first glance, the name Defne looks like it is pronounced differently but it is the same as Daphne from Scooby-Doo. Besides writing for Eastside, you can find her complaining about swim practice, reading about history, and listening to music from all different languages. In her free time, she is trying to control her cat, Evren, from escaping the house.
