Born in North Jersey, Karissa moved to Cherry Hill at the age of five. When she’s not writing for Community, she’s hosting birthday parties at BounceU or petting her excessive number of cats. Her personal heroes are Dave Grohl and Hellen Keller. She enjoys spending time reading people’s tarot cards, stalking celebrities, or planning vacations she’ll never take. Despite not having a soul, Karissa promises not to steal yours.
