On Dec. 23, 2025, East hosted its annual Wellness Day, with a multitude of clubs featuring various activities ranging from face painting to bracelet making. The freshman and sophomore classes experienced the Wellness Day programming during periods A and B, with the junior and senior classes attending during periods E and F.
Wellness Day was designed to help students relax, especially before the winter break and the Holiday Season, with engaging activities such as rock painting, crocheting, and even the movie Inside Out in the auditorium.
In Cafeteria 1, activities included face painting, cup stacking, knot tying, small groups from the choir caroling, musical chairs, and towers of positivity!
In Cafeteria 2, activities include a sensory table, breathing exercises, pom-pom making, coloring, card making, and calm music. In the afternoon blocks, upperclassmen also had the opportunity to meet rescue dogs.
In the DiBart Gym, East clubs brought tinkling, bracelet making, coloring by numbers, karaoke, air braiding, a love wall, rock painting, paper crafts, affirmations, coloring activities, ornament making, color art design, and the 24 card game. The bleachers were also out in case students preferred to socialize with their friends instead of participating in one of the clubs’ activities.
Overall, Wellness Day proved to be a major success, allowing students to enjoy a relaxing day before the official start to winter break and the holiday season.
