The Cherry Hill East Cougars defeated the Atlantic County Institute of Technology (ACIT) Redhawks with a 42-0 shutout victory, their second of the season. The Cougars lead scorers were Ryan Moyer (‘26) and Jaden Green (‘26) each scoring two touchdowns. Dylan Haddock (‘27) was also able to contribute to the win with a rushing touchdown. The defense held ACIT to zero points and three turnovers with two interceptions and a fumble.
With this win the Cougars keep their undefeated season alive so far and extend their home-game winning streak to 14 games since last season.
“They’ve been so good this first half, they just need to keep their foot on the pedal and keep it going,” said student C.J. Hoy (‘28).
“I think that this team will definitely win,” said student Nick Adelizzi (‘29). “You know they’re up 42-0 at halftime so it’s looking pretty good. The guys are just doing their thing, and we have to keep it going. I am certain that we are winning tonight, but the rest of the season is up to fate.”
Next Friday, October 3 is Senior Night for the Cougars as they look to stay undefeated and extend their home-game winning streak to 15 games against Clearview.
