The Cherry Hill East boys basketball team defeated Lenape High School 59-50 in an anticipated rivalry matchup on Jan. 15, 2026. A packed gym with loud student sections created an electric atmosphere. Both teams entered ranked among the top in New Jersey, with East at No. 14 and Lenape at No. 18. The game lived up to the hype with a back-and-forth battle and in the fourth quarter, Jamieson Young (28) sealed the win by knocking down a clutch three-pointer that put the game out of reach for the Indians. With the victory, the Cougars improve to 11-0 on the season and continue their undefeated run as they keep rolling for a potential postseason push.
