Like Blair Waldorf from Gossip Girl once said, “Look like an angel, talk like an angel,” and the models at the 2025 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show did just that. Some notable models that walked the event include Adriana Lima, Tyra Banks, Alex Consani, Gigi Hadid, and Bella Hadid. The overall theme of this year’s show was reawakening, a fantastical and elegant collection. With this being their 30th show, the company continues to create unique and popular designs, which will be broken down below.
One of the biggest honors for Victoria’s Secret models is to be named an official Angel. The official Angels are granted wings that go with their outfit, as well as some additional models who are not angels, such as Emily Ratajkowski and Barbie Ferreira. At this year’s show, the vast styles of wings brought in attention from a larger fashion-indulging audience.
Starting strong, Jasmine Tookes walked, while nine months pregnant, in a gold and sparkling fishnet style dress, showing off her baby bump. Her wings encapsulated the back of her upper half, with gold wiring and white, pearly spheres scattered among their broad length and width.
One of the biggest fashion icons of our time, Adriana Lima, came back from retirement after being an angel from 2000-2018 and took over the runway. Her assertive attire demanded the attention of the audience, with her bronze feathered wings which replicated a bird. The rest of her body suit was nude-colored with a sparkly lingerie set beneath. Not only was her styling excellent, but her return, as a fan favorite, was nothing less than thrilling.
With an impactful social media presence, Bella Hadid was a model to watch as one of the best in the business. Her outfit consisted of a sparkly silver tasseled top and matching bottom, with immense white fluffy wings. This elegant styling combined two qualities of fashion: extravagance and simplicity, and she executed it perfectly.
Last, but certainly not least, Awar Odhiang arguably wore one of the most favorable outfits of the night. With an entirely pink outfit, Odhiang wore a butterfly-inspired lacy top and matching lace bottoms. However, the piece that pulled the entire design together was the flowy translucent pink wings with an extending train. Also, the sparkly pink heel straps which wrapped around her shins and extended just below her knees added a special touch. The grace of her walk matched perfectly with the feminine spirit of her style for the night.
Victoria’s Secret did not come to play at this year’s show, maintaining its status and impressing the fashion industry once again.
