Paris Baguette, a South Korean bakery cafe franchise, had its debut in Moorestown on Nov. 21. Paris Baguette is a rapidly expanding chain with more than 4,000 locations worldwide, and with 1,000 locations set to be opened by 2030, the local addition has proven to be a great success.
Owners of the Moorestown location of Paris Baguette, husband and wife David and Amy Shah, have been following the brand for 15 years and are proud to have watched it grow. When asked what they like about Paris Baguette, they expressed their admiration for its advanced food and service.
In David Shah’s own words, “The cafe is considered to have premium coffee, premium pastries and premium cake.”
After picking up a tray, you can choose from a wide variety of pastries, confections and baked goods, along with savory items and other delicacies from the array of glass cases lining the interior of the bakery. In addition to the many bakery items, the menu contains a multitude of delicious beverages, from hot coffee to frozen lattes.
After purchasing your items, you can take them to go or enjoy the bakery’s large indoor and outdoor seating area. The atmosphere of the bakery is warm and welcoming.
“I love the vibe of it. It’s very vibrant,” said Amy Shah.
Although the variety of items to choose from was overwhelming, after sampling some, our favorites include the tiramisu, biscoff cookie butter layer cake and the peach iced tea.
The tiramisu cake was delicious, garnished with chocolate shavings and a light, fluffy icing. It was also topped with a festive milk-chocolate gingerbread.
The biscoff cookie cake was light and buttery, and it’s safe to say that if you enjoy the cookie, you will definitely enjoy the cake, too.
Lastly, the peach iced tea, though one of many drinks on the menu, was sweet and refreshing. If you are not a fan of iced tea, the bakery has plenty of other options.
Although we only listed a few items, there were definitely more on the menu worth going back to try. If you are looking for a place to get a sweet treat or if you are just in the mood to try something new, we highly recommend Paris Baguette.
