Within Cherry Hill there are a plethora of brunch places to choose from. Recently added to the list is Brunchaholics, a cafe that opened where Zoes Kitchen used to be on Haddonfield Road. Brunchaholics opened on October 20 and has gained lots of popularity in the Cherry Hill community. Brunchaholics gained attraction at their first location in Fishtown, Philadelphia and has been very successful there. The franchise is now expanding into South Jersey.

Inside Bruchacholics, there is a very vibrant environment with a modern-urban style that is carried throughout the restaurant. The restaurant includes booths, tables and even a bar for customers to sit. The restaurant is cozy and comfortable and carries out the orange, black, and white color scheme throughout the restaurant. During the opening weekend, there was a DJ and live music.

Upon entry, the staff were very friendly and made each customer feel welcomed and eager to eat the delicious food. While reservations were needed for this weekend, as Brunchaholics become acclimated to the new environment, reservations might not be needed in the future. While dining, I sat at the bar which is first come, first serve. The menu was very limited, but they serve both breakfast and lunch and operate a 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. business which differs from other brunch places in our area.

With such a limited menu it was hard to pick what to order. Ultimately, I got the french toast from the breakfast menu which includes thick cut Brioche bread and vanilla butter. The french toast came out warm and was mouthwatering; it was the perfect thickness topped with a sweet mixture with the vanilla butter. The food took about fifteen to twenty minutes to come out and was the right temperature when it was served.

Overall, Brunchaholics is a great, authentic brunch place in Cherry Hill. With such a limited menu it was hard to decide what would be good, but everyone who has been, raves about the French Toast. They serve a variety of different foods to choose from, including options from both the breakfast and lunch menu. This eatery is definitely a great addition to the Cherry Hill community.
