Football is a huge part of Ben’s life. Rather than getting beat up on the field, as he was on the team for 1 day, Ben has found a way to make it on/near the turf doing sports commentating/reporting. The idea first began with his company by interviewing fans and former players and has now transitioned to reporting for East. As one of the Multimedia Editors for Eastside, Ben plans on doing just that while making an impact on his school’s award-winning newspaper. In his free time, Ben can be found tweeting about professional football ( @ben_gold_ ), meeting sports broadcasters and television and radio personalities and making connections on LinkedIn (seriously).
