Ms. Gina Oh’s classes collected 400+ pairs of shoes from the Cherry Hill community and from her students for the Soles4Souls shoe drive.

“The environmental thinking behind the collection is that since our shoes are held together by a toxic glue, when disposed of in a landfill, it will leach into our pristine groundwater supply. When wearable footwear is donated to impoverished people instead, we can keep the toxic glue out of our water,” Oh said.
