Lady Gaga appeared in public yesterday wearing normal clothing. Several shocked witnesses inside the ShopRite in Montbury, CA, confirmed that the lady in the jeans and GAP sweatshirt was, indeed, the iconic singer.
“I was taking my afternoon stroll down the dairy aisle and I saw her examining the low fat yogurt. So, I went up to her and asked, ‘are you Lady Gaga?’ and she said ‘yes,’” said Alejandro Yoplait, 26, of Oakland, CA. “I couldn’t believe it. She was buying low fat yogurt instead of Greek yogurt, the hottest yogurt besides fro-yo!”
“I got this text from Ken [one of the cashiers], and he was like, ‘yo, I think Lady Gaga just walked in.’ So I went and hid behind the bread and looked through the space between the bread over the canned foods, and this lady looked like Lady Gaga, but I’m not sure,” said Ryan Gold, 18, store manager, who was restocking the frozen pizzas when Gaga entered the store.
Donna Mitchells, 47, asked, “Who’s Lady Gaga?”
Man Drake, 33, of Montbury, CA, said that he saw the pop queen getting out of her car at precisely 8:42 a.m.
“I saw her, and I thought, ‘wow, that looks like Lady Gaga. Only she’s not wearing any meat products,’” said Man.
His wife, Lila Drake, 27, also recalled the experience.
“Manny turned to me and said, ‘that looks like Lady Gaga. Only she’s not wearing any meat products.’ So I said, ‘that’s not Lady Gaga, Manny. She’s wearing jeans. Everyone knows Lady Gaga doesn’t wear jeans.’ And he said, ‘yes it is. It is her. You never believe me about anything,’” said Lila.
Gaga has also confirmed that she went to the supermarket yesterday.
“I was going to make myself a yogurt dress, but then I decided I really wanted to wear Doritos,” she said. “But I’m not going to go to the supermarket wearing food, because then people might think I’d just taken stuff off the rack and put it on. I wouldn’t want to be accused of shoplifting either.”
After putting her groceries in the trunk, Gaga proceeded to buy herself a milkshake from the McDonald’s on the other side of the shopping center.
