On October 18, 2024, Aubree Mon (‘25) broke Cherry Hill East’s service ace record for girls volleyball. In a 25-15 and 25-12 2-set match against Lenape High School, Mon surpassed 158 career service aces, breaking the all-time school record of 155 previously held by Grace Ehret (‘22). Mon also has 830 career assists as of October 19.
“I’m really thankful to East Volleyball for giving me the opportunity to achieve this accomplishment and I’m proud of how far this team has come,” Mon told Eastside.
The Cougars’ victory over Lenape put them at 18-1 for the season and named them the 2024 Olympic Conference Champions for the first time since 2016. Now 19-3 for the season as of October 24, 2024, the girls are heading into their final game before play-offs against Cherokee High School on October 30, 2024 at 3:45 p.m.
