The Phillies found out Sunday night that they are going to play the Yankees in the 2009 World Series. During the regular season, the Phils took 2 out of 3 in a series in the new Yankee stadium. If it wasn’t for a blown Brad Lidge save, one of his eleven regular season blown saves, it would have been a sweep in the regular season. Although the Phillies showed that they can beat the Yankees, every sports fan knows that the post season and regular season are two totally different ball games. Game one will be Wednesday night at the Yankees stadium. Game one starters are Cliff Lee for the Phils and C.C. Sabathia for the Yankees.
