Today, both the East Boys’ and Girls’ Varsity Basketball teams dominated opposing Catholic School teams. The Boys destroyed Camden Catholic 62-28, as Chris Santo (’11) grabbed 17 rebound en route to his 1,000th career rebound. The Lady Cougars also handled Paul VI easily in a 71-53 win. These wins push the Boys’ record to 23-3 and the Girls’ to a very impressive 23-0. The Lady Cougars will close their season out next Monday, February 28th, against Millville after the face Camden Catholic this Saturday, Feb. 26. The Boys will square off with Paul VI this Saturday and will face Egg Harbor Township in their season finale next Monday.

For the Playoffs, the Lady Cougar’s undefeated regular season has propelled them to the Number 1 Seed in the South Jersey Group 4 Playoff Tournament. The Boys have earned the Number 2 Overall Seed in the Boys’ South Jersey Group 4 Playoff Tournament.
