East soccer player Isabella Masino committed to Immaculata University
Isabella Masino (‘22) has committed to Immaculata University for soccer. Masino has been playing soccer since she was five years old. Masino plays left defense and will continue to play that position in college. She has also played for Cherry Hill High School East since her freshman year, “East has impacted me in many ways. Being around friends and having them motivate you helps a lot. Also watching your friends thrive makes you want to thrive.” Masino has loved playing for East and that’s how she got connected with the Immaculata University female soccer coach. Masino got contacted by the coach and was asked to send her highlights. The coach of Immaculata University was impressed and wanted Masino to tour the school and meet her. She toured the campus shortly after that phone call, “I really like the environment and I loved the coach when I met her.” Masino said. She always knew she loved the idea of a smaller school so she committed to the smaller campus. Masino does think it will be a big change, but she is more than ready for it. Her playing for East has really helped prepare her for these moments.
