Mikaela Fenton is a professional dancer and educator based in Philadelphia. A graduate of the University of the Arts with a B.F.A. in Dance, she has performed with renowned choreographers such as Sidra Bell, Tommie-Waheed Evans, and Milton Myers. Mikaela began her career with PHILADANCO’s second company (D/2) and later transitioned to a full-time company member of PHILADANCO. In addition to her performance career, she teaches at the School of Philadelphia Ballet and other institutions across the tri-state area, while also contributing as a movement director for various music videos and short films.

Alexis is a junior and a Community Editor for Eastside. At East, Alexis plays in the orchestra and participates in Amnesty International, Habitat for Humanity, Interact, and JSU. Outside of East, she enjoys dancing at Lowe Dance Studio, playing the violin, volunteering in the community, and hanging out with friends and family on the weekends.
