Bravo held a special event on November 6th, 2007 for Season 4 of Project Runway– an actual fashion show for the new contestants with clothes they had already designed in the past. The contestants seem to be very talented, and Tim Gunn even says that this season may be the most talented group yet. I’ve been told to look out for Christian, age 21- even though he’s very young he may be “a pretty big deal” like he says he is. Remember that Project Runway season four starts November 14th.
See videos below for the fashion show!
The designers are presented in this order:
Kevin, Victorya, Elisa , Rami ,Simone ,Marion ,Jillian, Ricky ,Chris ,Jack ,Steven ,Kit,Christian ,Sweet p ,Carmen. The models from last season were also used considering how I noticed some very familiar faces. Project Runway season 3 is now available on DVD, and of course I have it. From watching it, I think I remember seeing Jillian and Steven’s audition but now they get to showcase their work for real on season 4.
–Robert Best, season 3 designer, designed Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Barbies for Mattel.
– Like fantasy football, there will be a Fantasy Runway League sponsored by TRESemmé, for viewers to play to win a trip to the Project Runway Season 4 Finale Party in New York. Each week, you pick who you think will be the next episode’s Challenge Winner, who will be voted off the show, and who will get the TRESemmé vote for Best Hair Concept of the episode. There will also be a weekly Bonus Question to stump you. Project runway fans can register now!
-When Heidi Klum walked the red carpet at the Accessories Council awards, she wore a dress of her own design. Turns out the model went to design school in Germany, made clothes for the German chain store “Otto” and also helped design some pieces for Victoria’s Secret. Heidi’s black dress had an intricate embroidered bodice with blue stones and very intricate detailing giving the impression of an Egyptian piece of art. Some people called it matronly but you have to admire her ability to do it all – designing, hosting, modeling, and being a mother.
-I couldn’t resist posting news about Cherry Hill native, Ali Larter (from Heroes). She attended the gala for Donna Karan’s new fragrance, ”Delicious Night.” The fragrance, says Karan, has been inspired by the “sexy buzz of New York City at night.”
-Another Heroes star, Hayden Panettiere, designed a large red patent leather bag limited edition Dooney and Bourke handbag. It will be available in December, as mentioned before in a previous article. I’m not a fan of Dooney and Bourke’s monogrammed bags so this is a nice change.
