FOP (Fraternal Order of Police) met in caf2 after school on Tuesday, November 18 to make decorations and prepare for the Holiday Party on December 22.The FOP Holiday Party was created to bring joy to disabled children during the holidays. Nelly Mac (’10), who has participated in FOP since freshman year, said that in addition to preparing for the party, at the party volunteers can serve food to disabled children and dance with them
Until the date of the Holiday Party, December 22, Mac and the other members of FOP work on decorations until about 4 o’clock in the afternoon.
The meetings are organized by overall chairpersons including Amanda Escobar (’09) and Brett Levine (’09). Chairpersons for the Ballroom, Santa Clause Room, and Table Decorations also run the meetings.
The next meeting for tenth and twelfth graders will be held on Monday, November 24 and for the ninth and eleventh graders on Tuesday, November 25.
