At the pep rally today, seniors earned another victory in the banner contest, followed by sophomores in second, juniors in third and freshman in fourth place.  The seniors’ flag featured a near three-dimensionally rendered Mario leading the rest of the characters with his fist, a clear statement of the seniors’ ambitious Spirit Week goals.  Juniors’ flag read ‘Class of of ‘13’ with a border of bananas and a heroic Donkey Kong.  Pokemon characters Pikachu and Squirtle adorned the sophomores’ flag, as well as Ash presenting a Pokeball.   Freshman used the space invader ships to spell out East under a backdrop of Space Invaders.  Flags and spirits waved high at today’s pep rally.
