On Thursday, December 3, the Jewish Culture Club met after school in Caf-2. Before the meeting began, two members of the Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) of southern New Jersey came to speak to the club members.
This meeting was held in honor of the upcoming holiday, Hannukah. Members each received a colored dreidel (a four-sided top) and chocolate gelt (coins) to play the traditional game of dreidel. Pizza was also served at the meeting.
Because of the upcoming holidays, members were asked to bring a small, gender-neutral gift to be donated to those in need. A few members, along with the help of advisor Ms. Freedman, wrapped the gifts at the meeting.
