French club kicked off its year this Thursday, October 7, with an informal meeting and French-style snacks.  Club advisor Mrs. Saillard opened the floor to suggestions for future French club events, which are scheduled to include watching French films, sampling French food and music, cooking and taking field trips to the Rodin museum and a French restaurant.  French club is also planning a Skype/dessert party to practice French with native speakers and to hone students’ skills in la pâtisserie. Officers have not yet been elected, but several upperclassmen have submitted their names for consideration.  Next meeting is scheduled, tentatively, for Thursday, October 28.
