FOP met in Cafeteria One to prepare posters for their annual holiday party after school on December 7. Members created festive posters for a holiday party that the club hosts each year. This holiday party is a charitable event for children with special needs, whom East students get to share the merriment of the holiday season with.
Member Paige Leone (’13) said, “I like doing something good for children in need. The [disabled] children don’t get to do as much as other children, so [the holiday party] is a nice way to make them feel like they are a part of something.”
In addition, club members were informed that they can purchase FOP t-shirts for five dollars. For members who missed the meeting, members can pick up forms and drop off completed ones at the activity’s office.
