Uncle Sam wants you! Well, sort of.
Recently, the Character Education Committee has adopted Troop 6041 in Iraq. By adopting the troop, Character Ed. has made a promise to donate various items, ranging from entertainment goodies, like CD compilations, to more personal items, such as lotion and soap. In order to send a large shipment over by Valentine’s Day, Character Ed. needs anyone who is willing to donate any items to do so by January 23.
According to club advisor Mrs. Christine Shultz, three boxes, containing music, DVDs, candy, games and holiday decorations have already been sent over in time for the holidays. However, more items are needed.
The unit is a training station for units to go into and learn final tactical maneuvers and survival tactics before going out to the battle lines. Troop 6041 is in the process of creating a makeshift gym/recreation room to exercise and relax in, said Shultz, who has been emailing back and forth with the head officer.
For a complete list of needed items, both specific to the Troop and a general wishlist from TreatsForTroops.com, please visit co-adviser Mrs. Heath’s eboard at http://www4.eboard.com/eboard/servlet/BoardServlet;jsessionid=594FFA7A6DBDEC01428C062DBFAC41E7?ACTION=NOTE_SHOW&ACTION_ON=NOTE&OBJECT_ID=3375823&SITE_NAME=cherryhill&BOARD_NAME=lheath&SESSION_ID=1zenf9xv04age67994&TAB_ID=372574 . Donations can be dropped off at F089, A/V or C204. For any questions, please contact Mrs. Shultz in F089 or at cshultz@chclc.org, or see Mrs. Heath in C204.

I would like to thank everyone that has helped with Treats for Troops! We need so much more to send over to the troops! Each box will cost $10.95 to send over seas and take about four weeks to ship! Any donation would help greatly!
Thank you!
Ms. Schultz
