After school, on October 20, almost one hundred students auditioned for East’s fall play. The fall play is going to be The Crucible, the play by Arthur Miller about the Salem Witch Trials. The auditioning students got into groups of about twenty five, got up on stage, and recited a monologue. Only about sixty or seventy of the students who auditioned will be able to act in the fall play.
