The Agape Christian group met today after school, November 17, 2010 in B248. The theme of today’s discussion was sacrifice.
Agape meets religiously every Wednesday after school in B248. Every week features a different topic, such as today’s concentration on sacrifice.
“We like to be creative so that we keep everyone interested,” said John Han. The topics are often certain bible verses or various problems that distinct members face.
The club has three distinct large groups, led by one leader. However, Agape is not always about work. They often play games to get to know each of the 30 Agape members.
Before they talk about their problems or the daily topic, the members sing songs to praise God, with Issac Jun (’11) at the guitar and Lisa Harasaki (’11) leading the chorus. There is also a variety of food, ranging from pizza to pretzels.
