From the stage to the screen, Broadway’s award-winning Into the Woods is just as magnificent in theaters.

Meryl Streep stars as the Witch who assigns a baker, Tony-award-winning James Corden, and his wife Emily Blunt, to obtain a cow as white as milk, a cape as red as blood, hair as yellow as corn and a slipper as pure as gold in order to reverse a curse that was previously put on their family tree. Upon searching for these magical items, the baker and his wife come across a variety of fairytale characters in the woods.

Into the Woods includes main characters from the stories like Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk and Rapunzel, as well as minor characters from other fairytales.

The very talented and graceful Lilla Crawford plays Little Red Riding Hood and Rapunzel is played incredibly well by Mackenzie Mauzy. Anna Kendrick plays the role of Cinderella beautifully and Chris Pine charmingly plays her prince. In addition, the wonderful Daniel Huttlestone plays Jack from Jack and the Beanstalk.

The exquisite and pleasing music by Stephen Sondheim had everyone dancing in his or her seat and the voices of the unforgettable cast were unbelievably outstanding.

The set is filled with diversity and detail as the characters traveled from the bakery to Rapunzel’s tower and from Jack’s house to Cinderella’s ball. The amazing costumes correspond perfectly with each character that wore them.

As expected, Into the Woods is more than successful yet again. With a brilliant cast and a phenomenal story line, Into the Woods offers an experience that viewers will not want to miss.
