The Cub and Bunny Cafe review
The “Cub and Bunny” is a restaurant located on King’s highway in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. The Korean and ice cream restaurant has been a big hit since their recent opening. Due to COVID-19 Cub and Bunny had to close for some time being, though they have recently reopened. At the moment they are only offering outdoor seeing, but with no heat lamps and the incoming cold weather, you may be sticking with takeout as I did.
The menu offers different mouth-watering Korean food options. I started my meal with the rice bowl. When getting to create your rice bowl, you pick your base, protein, mix in, and lastly, you choose your crunch. I decided to get a bowl with brown rice as my base, chicken as my protein, lettuce, carrots, and corn as my mixins, and seaweed as my crunch.
Taking no more than 15-20 minutes after an order for pickup, the food comes out hot and well prepared. All the workers take full control over the COVID-19 protocols, being put in place to safely feed customers. The employees are very kind and well prepared to be running a restaurant while following the coronavirus guidelines.
The rice bowl was off the charts; the chicken was well done, and the mix of seaweed with the brown rice was delicious. For the price of 9 dollars, it was most definitely a reasonable price for a great bowl. Next, I got a small order of the Korean chicken wings. If you are into spicy food like me, then I highly recommend the spicy flavor. If not, they offer soy garlic flavored wings. Well cooked and well priced at 7.50 dollars, they were definitely worth the buy.
Overall, the Cub and Bunny Cafe was a hit. Coming in and trying this for the first time, I did not know what to expect. However, I ended up with great results, and I definitely will be coming back again. Whether you are into Korean food or ice cream, I recommend you try Cub and Bunny!
