South Jersey welcomes fall with Evesham’s Harvest Fest
October 28, 2021
September 22nd, 2021; The first day of fall in the Northern Hemisphere and what better way to celebrate the season of pumpkin spice and flannels than a festival. Merchants in the Evesham and South Jersey region gathered together to ring in fall at The Harvest Festival of Evesham. Rows and rows of vendors, mostly from the surrounding Marlton area, set up their tents and showcased a variety of goods. From fall themed home decor, to Halloween pet clothing and treats, candles, and more, the ambience of the festival created a mood for the transition into the new season.
The event along Main Street in Marlton expanded over several blocks, filled with live music and food vendors including freshly made donuts and Jersey classic hoagies. Families and friends attended the September 25th event. Captivating its mass attendees, there was really something for everyone, including furry friends and friends. Along the side street, bounce houses, balloon artists, and other kid-approved activities were there. While it was a great event to celebrate fall, the fundamentals of supporting local businesses were in full effect. Marlton-based favorites like Rastelli Market hosted a raffle, while other storefronts on Main Street took their fall inventory onto the festival streets. Other local companies had advertising opportunities through the exposure of a large crowd. Lots of Cherokee-based fundraisers and organizations like Girl Scouts set up shop to raise money for events.
Overall, on a beautiful Saturday afternoon, what better way to savor the weather of summer with a full package of food, entertainment and local shops joining together to support the South Jersey community.
