The Philadelphia Street Food Festival is back and is set to take place on Saturday, November 9, bringing the city’s best food trucks and iconic restaurants to Xfinity Live! From 2-8 p.m., food lovers will have the opportunity to sample a wide variety of street food from over thirty local vendors, all while enjoying live music performances and family-friendly activities.
This year’s festival offers various delicious street food options, with every food item $5 or less, allowing attendees to sample various flavors and options from the vendors. To make purchasing food quick and easy, all food items will operate on a voucher system with vouchers sold in sheets of 5 for $5 (cash only) and can be used as cash to buy food from vendors. For beverages, guests receive a complimentary first drink, which can include beer, seltzers, mixed drinks, soda, or water. Drink vouchers can be redeemed and then purchased directly at the bars with cash or credit.
On top of the variety of local food vendors, the event will offer a range of entertainment, from live music to activities suited for all ages. Visitors will be able to catch performances from live bands in Victory Beer Hall or live mixes by a DJ in the NBC Sports Arena. For those who enjoy a challenge, there will be mechanical bull riding in PBR Philly as well as fun contests such as a stein holding competition. For guests looking for something more low-key, there will be a giant cheese fry bar, general vendor market, and karaoke.
Additionally, there is a Kids Fun Zone, featuring face painters, bounce houses, and other activities to keep younger attendees entertained while parents enjoy the food and festivities, ensuring fun for the whole family.
