Like going to fancy restaurants, but hate spending $50 for a steak? Then the annual Philadelphia restaurant week is for you.
Taking place from January 17 to 22 and 24 to 29, all participating restaurants will offer three course meals (including an appetizer, a full entrée and a dessert) from a selected menu for only $35. For businessmen looking to take clients out for a cheap but nice lunch, many of the restaurants offer lunch for $20.
Over 100 restaurants participate in restaurant week and a list of all the restaurants and addresses as well as a website to make reservations can be found at: http://www.centercityphila.org/life/RWRestaurants.php.
For those looking to eat fancy locally, South Jersey hosts its own restaurant week but dates and participating restaurants have not yet been announced. Restaurant week is an excellent deal for anybody looking to eat Filet Mignon without it eating one’s wallet.
