Check out the Marlton Farmers Market this summer
Come to the Marlton Farmers Market to enjoy goods and food made locally! You can attend this market located at the Marlton Greene Shopping Center and it is entirely outdoors. Make sure to mark your calendars as it is only open every Wednesday, and they will continue until September 1 from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
You can enjoy the many vendors such as the Hoop House where you can buy delicious pastries, fresh produce from Fruitwood Farms, beeswax goods and raw honey from Mill Creek Apiary, a food truck called Empanada Guy, birdhouses created from recycled woods from Pluma Avis Domus and many more.
In regards to COVID precautions, I attended the market on June 23rd, and I noticed that a few people were wearing masks and many people weren’t crowding around each other.
However, changes to COVID regulations may have recently occurred,
as their website, marltonfarmersmarket.com said,“To ensure a safe experience, the Marlton Farmers Market’s updated procedures for participating vendors will conform with requirements mandated by the State of New Jersey for essential grocery and retail food operations.”
The regulations at this market include mandatory mask-wearing, a provision of hand sanitizers, social distancing and for vendors, more sanitation especially in places that require a lot of usage such as keypads to make transactions, and more. You can check out their website to view the health and safety rules along with the specific vendors that are attending and the dates they will be coming.
Overall, it was an enjoyable experience especially with the unique goods and fresh produce accompanied by live music! If you have extra time on your hands, attend this market to experience what this community offers.
