Spirit Week cafeteria games

Friday marked the beginning of the annual cafeteria spirit week games. During period three lunch, four representatives battled it out in an epic Mario Kart war. Sean Stanley (’15), Megan Quay (’14), Amy Tung (’13) and Andrew Parosky (’12) choose their characters wisely to represent their grades: Kupa trooper, Baby Mario, baby Peach and Luigi, respectively. In a close race that took place in the snow peaks,  Quay led her grade across the finish line as the winner of the period three cafeteria games.

In period four, Jeremy Welsch (’14) raced his character around the track to earn the sophomores a first-place victory.  Ben Lore (’15) was next with a close second-place finish.  Drew Farber (’12) followed by Jasmine Burke (’13) in the rear.

During 5th period Lunch, four representatives from each grade played Mario Kart on the Wii. The setting of the game was ‘Mushroom Gourge’. The winner was Sam Davis (’12) who represented the senior class and Mario on the game. The sophomores were represented as Donkey Kong, and came in third place. The freshman class as Luigi came in a close second; both Mario and Luigi were up ahead in the race for the majority of the time, but towards the end, the seniors won. The juniors chose Toad as their representative in the game.

In 6th period lunch, the junior class captured the first-place finish to cap off the cafeteria games for the day.  A new round of games will begin on Monday.
