Mr. What’s Cookin’ Good Lookin’ (Jacob Bloom)

Between Jazz Band and different clubs and activities, Jacob Bloom (‘20), or Mr. What’s Cookin’ Good Lookin’, is always ready to chop it like it’s hot. But when it comes to the kitchen, he’s ready to stir the pot a little bit.

Bloom has been a part of the Mr. East show for the past three years when it came to the performance aspect of the production. With so much exposure to the program, he couldn’t help but look forward to the year he could hit everyone with his best pot.

The theme this year being occupations gives Bloom the perfect chance to show the judges how flippin’ good his cooking skills are as a chef.

“I am a man of many talents, so I think putting together a combination of the three that I am most proud of will not only be fun for me, but for people to watch. It’s going to be exciting, entertaining and funny,” said Bloom.

Although a chef can easily just videotape himself making his best dish, Bloom has much more cooking over in his kitchen. Bloom is going to be putting together a combination of the three things he is most proud of: DJing, cooking and playing the saxophone.

“I believe this represents me well because I work as a DJ for Rock-It Entertainment, I cook dinner practically every night for my family, and I am passionate about being a musician. Hopefully, the judges will get a good sense of who I am based on my act,” explained Bloom.

Although this year’s performance is going to be very different for the contestants, Bloom knows how to take these conditions and spice up his own act to set himself apart.

Lettuce remain calm because alongside his experience with the show, he also has many qualities that set him apart.

“I’m optimistic, extroverted, and chill and I think those qualities will come out in my act and virtual stage presence as a whole. Overall, I’m the best because I know I’m really good at what I do and I’m still excited to be a part of Mr. East,” said Bloom.

The candidates for Mr. East this year are sure to bring their best, the judges butter be prepared because Bloom is bringing the heat, in and out of the kitchen!
