Margie Krzeminski (1987)

Margie Krzeminski’s soccer career at East in 1987 got her inducted into the hall of fame. She was happy for everyone that got inducted and was truly honored to be included in the selection. Her coaches and teammates were all very important to her. Coach Troutman was one very special coach to her. She described him as a hardworking, wise, strategic, and all-around an amazing coach. He taught her things she could not learn from school, like taking risks, learning trust, and practicing creative problem-solving. Most of her teammates she had played with since she was 9-10 years old, and she says they were the “closest thing to sisters I had in a family of all brothers.” She had a very special bond with her teammates, which meant a lot when they went on to win their conference and a sportsmanship award. An injury ended her soccer career. Unfortunately, she still has special memories from her time playing at east and will always remember them.
