Avocado Toast

Avocado Toast with a Kick (pictured on the left)

Being a soccer player, I love getting a kick out of things, whether it is through sports, experiences, and FOOD! Through this quarantine, avocados have been my go-to food item. I have mixed and blended different flavors in order to get amazing tasting avocado toasts. This one is definitely for the more adventurous palate, but it is my favorite blend of tastes!

Preparation:

Toast the sourdough bread until it becomes crunchy
Take the avocado, put it in a bowl, and mash it (I prefer mashing it with a fork)
Add the wasabi and cream cheese into the bowl and blend them together until all the ingredients are mixed evenly
Spread it onto the bread and garnish the toast with the red pepper
ENJOY!!


Caprese Avocado Toast (pictured on the right)

This toast is for the palate that does not work the best with spicy food. It works best when the ingredients are fresh! It takes super healthy – and it is!

Preparation:

Toast the sourdough bread until it becomes crunchy
Take the avocado, put it in a bowl, and mash it (I prefer mashing it with a fork)
Spread the mashed avocado onto the bread
Cut the cherry tomatoes and place them onto the bread (spread it out)
Tear apart the mozzarella balls into six pieces and put them into the empty spaces around the tomatoes
If you want the spice, cut slices of the jalapeno (don’t use the whole thing) and add them onto the toast
Garnish with salt and pepper
