In addition to meeting today to celebrate the holidays, the J.C.C. also made cards to send to nursing homes.

“We meet every holiday,” said club advisor Ms. Freedman, who is also a math teacher at East.  “We’re just here to have fun.”

The J.C.C. is part of the nationwide Jewish Student Union and Rabbi Jonah Lerner attends the meetings.

“It’s a good connection for Jewish kids,” said Ezra Nathan (’11).
