Game of the year? (USC vs. Ohio State)

If you had $500, or let’s say $1,000, what would you do with it? Although this may seem like a difficult question, many sports fans across America know exactly what they would do. Go to the USC versus Ohio State college football game tonight at 8:00.

Ticket prices for the game have gone over $2,000.The nations top team, USC, looks to keep their number one ranking and improve to 2-0. While number five ranked Ohio St. looks to become 3-0. Many experts say the winner of this game will likely have a spot in the National Championship game. There has been much talk and anticiaption of this game.

Ohio States star running back, Chris “Beanie” Wells has been talked about a lot throughout the entire week. After getting injured in the season opener, Ohio State looked forward to a appearance from Wells tonight for the big game. Unfortunately, Wells is not going to play and will be sidelined with a foot injury. Also, a big news story is about USC’s quarterback, Mark Sanchez. Sanchez had a decent game against Virgina University two weeks ago, where he threw three touchdowns and one interception. Will see if Sanchez can do the same thing against a top five team. But, by far the most intriguing story for this game is the match up between USC’s and Ohio States linebackers, Rey Maualuga and James Laurinaitis.

Maualuga and Laurinaitis are two fierce competitive linebackers who are no doubt All-Americans. Laurinaitis has a great understanding of the game and is the true leader of the Buckeyes defense. While Maualuga plays with the most intensity of any player in college football, and produces a fear that very little players can.
