Monday, October 12 was a great day for both East’s varsity and JV field hockey teams.
The varsity team defeated Cherry Hill West 3-1 on West’s field. Nina Orwitz (’11) scored 2 goals for East and Kristen Olenick (’11) scored a goal as well.
The junior varsity team also came away successfully against West’s team with a score of 6-0. Rachel Bengino (’12) scored 3 goals and Alana Kopelson (’12), Sarah Minion (’12) and Becca Taub (’12) each scored a goal.
Hopefully the teams will continue to have such success.
