The East hallways were transformed into a sea of red today, as students wore their favorite East apparel or red for the final day of spirit week.

In first place were the seniors, followed by the juniors, sophomores and then freshman.

Students were seen wearing all sorts of East gear from East athletic clothing to class apparel. Some students went full out, wearing red from head to toe. “It’s amazing to see everyone’s school spirit come together at once,” said Emily Reisman (’16).

After last night’s fierce dance competition between the grades, having everyone wear East gear for the final day of spirit week helps to unite the school as one again. “Seeing everyone wearing red really unites the school and brings everyone closer together,” said Marisa Meyers (’16).

Jordan Tort (’18) said, “Since this is my first spirit week at East, it’s amazing to see how much pride everyone has in the school.”

This theme helped excite students for the big East vs. West homecoming game tonight.
