About the Photographer
Joshua Pipe, Eastside News/Features Editor

Joshua Pipe, because of his angst over not having a cool nickname, chooses to spend
most of his time observing wild animals in their natural habitats (or in layman’s terms:
politicians in Washington, D.C.). When not living, eating, or breathing politics, Josh can be found
playing with cute animals, writing, reading a good novel or biography, jamming out to show-
tunes, or drinking an unhealthy amount of coffee. Josh also prides himself on being the real-life
version of The West Wing’s Joshua Lyman and on being living evidence that high school
students don’t get enough sleep.
