Here is a question that I can not seem to figure out. Did Brett Favre die or something? Sure this may be a bit of a foolish question, but I have good reason to wonder.
With all of the dramatic media coverage on his retirement, it sure seems like Favre has been placed “down under”.
I was watching ESPN earlier in the week, and during a Green Bay Packers press conference, Ted Thompson, the Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations, made a statement.
“The Packers organization is deeply saddened by the retirement of Brett Favre, but we will move on.”
Give me a break.
Have you ever been judged by what you were wearing? Have you ever judged someone because of what he or she was wearing? Have you ever felt self-conscious about the clothes you wear or how they look? Or maybe you just don’t like the idea of having to pick out a new outfit every day for school. If you can relate to this, then consider the solution to this problem, school uniforms!
The main reason school uniforms are a plus, is because it can stop people from being judged and bullied. Not everyone in public schools comes from the same background and not every kid can afford designer clothes. So the student has to worry what others are going to do or say, creating an unnecessary stress factor.
The latest in music news, music videos, emerging artists and programs devoted to the musical arts: despite what was once claimed, not all of these can be found on MTV.
When MTV launched in 1981, it was the country’s source of music videos and music news from around the world, packed conveniently into one television channel. Now, reality shows that do not relate to music in any way are constantly broadcasted, and viewers would be lucky to find any music programs featured at a convenient time.
“The Real World,” “Punk’d” and “The Hills” all make millions of dollars and don’t have any musical value.
Have you ever heard of someone retaining his or her job after committing murder? Chances are, you probably have not. However, that may soon change thanks in large part to the infamous actions of former NFL phenomenon Michael Vick.
After pleading guilty to participating in a dog-fighting conspiracy in which he took part in the murders of numerous dogs, Vick received a 23-month jail sentence. When Vick is released from jail in October of next year, many questions will surface regarding whether or not he should be allowed back in the NFL.

As we begin the primary season of the 2008 Presidential Election it is important to look at the government the future president will be inheriting.
In the first six years as President of the United States, President Bush has overseen the worst terrorist attack on America in recent history, a massive recession, a futile war, the failings of FEMA and many other great “achievements” in American history. But in a way all of this is starting to get, well, boring.
