For the first day of the Spirit Week competition, competitors all came out decked in college gear. The seniors won the day for having the most students dressed in college apparel, followed by the freshman, juniors, and then sophomores in last place. Though many supported their grades in the race to the Spirit Week win, not every student wanted to participate. Austin Billig (’13) said,”I dont think [a lot] of ┬ápeople care about wearing the apparel for spirit week. They think they are too cool.. If people are not in the dance they seem to not care.” Tomorrow, the spirit week competition continues with “80’s Day”.
