On Tuesday November 22, 2016 in honor of the fifth day of Spirit Week, the Pie Eating contest took place in Cafeteria 1 during both LB1 and 2. Contestants were instructed to be gowned in plastic and lined up amongst a table with a whipped cream pie. Inside of the pie, there were five Swedish Fish that contestants had to find and spit out outside their pies using only their mouths.
During LB1, the contestants were Freshman Jared Achuff (’20), Sophomore Mitchell Cohen (’19), Junior Leon Adler (’18), and Senior Joco Conception (’17). Though it was a tough battle between contestants, Cohen (’19) took the lead for the Sophomore win followed by Juniors, Freshman and Seniors.
During LB2, the contestants were Freshman Zayid May (’20), Sophomore Calvin Chan (’19), Junior Jordan Tort (’18), and Senior Hunter Berkowitz (’17). Chan (’20), was responsible for the Sophomore win for LB2, followed by the Seniors, Juniors and Freshman.
