Today after school, SGA officers and advisors from each class held a meeting to discuss Spirit Week themes.

To begin the process of choosing a theme, officers from each class suggested their ideas. After everyone presented possible themes, 24 were listed on the board. To narrow down the list, class officers and advisors voted on their top three choices.

Eventually, after multiple rounds of voting, the final decision came between “ologies” (words that end in –ology such as zoology, biology, etc.) and Nickelodeon.

After brainstorming the possibilities for both themes, a final vote was conducted, with Nickelodeon as the decided winner.

SGA President Jason Warren (’11) was very pleased with the meeting’s outcome. “It was a long process, but we think this is going to be a great theme that everyone will enjoy,” he said.

The officers will have until Thursday to decide on potential individual class themes categorized under Nickelodeon.
