The Future Doctors of America club held its third meeting of the year today after school.
30 plus students showed up to decorate holiday cards for the Voorhees Pediatric Facility while others discussed the past and future meetings.
During the previous meeting, those in the club played Jeopardy with chemistry and biology problems.
Club treasurer, Bahruny Choi (’09) announced that the last bake sale was a success and that the next sale will take place in late January.
Choi also mentioned that the group is looking for guest speakers to come to future meetings.
While every member in the club plans to enter the medical profession, that’s not necessarily the only reason students join FDA.
Amy Chau (’10), an active member of the club, said that she’s involved in FDA “to experience more about the medical atmosphere.”
“You can actually ask questions to some of these guest speakers,” said Alfred Yung (’10).
A chiropractor will make a presentation at the next Future Doctors of America meeting on January 13.
