Cherry Hill East students kicked off spirit week today dressing up in their favorite college gear. The Class of 2019 started off their first day of spirit week in the best possible way. The freshmen won the first dress up day by having the most students wearing college gear. In second place were the seniors, followed by the sophomores and then the juniors.

The overall standings in spirit week are the same. The freshmen have the lead, trailed by the seniors, sophomores and juniors. No matter the standings, many East students are excited for the upcoming week. Elise Goldstein (’17) and Marlena Penn (’16) both love spirit week for the unity it fosters between the grades.

There will be dress up days everyday until next Wednesday. Tomorrow the theme is superheroes, Friday is blackout, Monday is USA gear, Tuesday is tropical gear and Wednesday is a red-out.
