Today, May 17, 2010, the Community Service Club had their second meeting of the school year. The club’s goal is to “drive hunger away,” and they were beginning to do so at today’s meeting after school.

They prepared for the food drive that will be held at Cherry Hill East during the first week of June. The club worked diligently after school, painting bins to resemble a Campbell’s soup can. All proceeds will go the South Jersey food bank.

The next meeting will be held next week for further preparations for the food drive.
