Do you enjoy studying Roman history? Mythology? Latin? If you answered yes to any of those, join East’s Classics Club.

In this after-school haven for Latin lovers, students try a variety of questions relating to anything from Julius Caesar’s death to the story of Arachne.

There is a no-pressure atmosphere in Classics Club, but it does involve a lot of competition. Students race each other in a “quiz” and put their knowledge to the test. Its members are currently practicing for Certamen, a Latin-based quiz-bowl style competition.
