Character Ed plans donations to Women’s and Children’s Shelter

Every Wednesday afternoon, the members of Character Ed team up. The club finances their time into bake sales, beautifying gardens, car washes, and donations.

Currently, the members of Character Ed plan to connect with the Women’s and Children’s Shelter in Camden, NJ. On February 22, they plan to prepare 150 hoagies within two hours. The hoagies will then be delivered to the shelter.

Along with hoagies, the club hopes to collect baby products, dental products, bathroom supplies, and make-up, which will later on be made into baskets and brought to the shelter as well.   The members of Character Ed also discussed plans for their upcoming Character Ed Spirit Week, which will take place from March 7 to March 11.

“We made up a game plan, and I’m really excited to see how it turns out,” said Ashley Freedman (’12), the newest member of Character Ed.
