This past weekend, Cherry Hill East hosted the annual Cherry Hill East Invitational, a prestigious boy’s basketball showcase in which some of the top teams in South Jersey attend. The East Invitational is a huge fundraiser for the boy’s basketball program and hundreds upon hundreds of fans/viewers attend. Money was raised through an entry fee to watch games, food and beverage sales and a 50/50 raffle. East guidance counselor Mr. Jonathan Strout was the DJ for the event.
In all, 13 games were played this weekend in the Dibart Gymnasium. Twenty- five teams attended, with each team playing one game with the exception of Rancocas Valley High School, who played two games. The results from the games are below.
